Little Jasmine, a Bengaluru- based theatre company, brings us a new production of Eugène Ionesco’s wellknown absurdist classic, The Bald Soprano. This seminal ‘anti-play’ has been staged every night at the Théâtre de La Huchette in Paris since 1957, an indication of its timeless popularity. Kirtana Kumar directs this version of The Bald Soprano and performs it alongside Ashvin Mathew. The rest of the cast includes Fizz as the fire chief, Lekha Naidu as the maid, Prerna Kaul as Mrs Martin and Sanjay Iyer as Mr Martin.
