This year’s award is going to be bigger than usual as the winner in the Best Band category will receive `500,000. The nominations for 2011 have been announced, and Mumbai indie rock band Pentagram leads with seven nominations, including Best Band, Best Album (for Bloodywood) and Best Song. Delhi alt-rock band Menwhopause and metal act Undying Inc follow close behind with six nominations each. The winners will be announced in late February at a function in Mehboob Studios.
