A bright young man, holding his resume close, waits nervously at the reception of one of the country’s largest corporations. Minutes later he is called in for his job interview. Nothing he learnt in college, university or his previous jobs has prepared him for what comes next, but he’s keen to make it. After all, it is a job to die for. Winner of four Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards, The Interview is a dark comedy with a strange turn of events. The play is a production from the Jagriti theatre, a hub for performance in Bengaluru with a vision to professionalise English language theatre in India.
