| Who says terrorists can have it all their way? People who want to overthrow the United States government are now mandated to register in South Carolina for a five dollar registration fee, or face a fine of 25 thousand dollars and up to 10 years in a penitentiary. The state’s Subversive Activities Registration Act was passed last year and is now official. It states “every member of a subversive organisation, or an organisation subject to foreign control, every foreign agent and every person who advocates, teaches, advises or practices the duty, necessity or propriety of controlling, conducting, seizing or overthrowing the government of the United States ... shall register with the Secretary of State.” Subversive agencies “subject to foreign control” are given 30 days to register.
