Among the cultural performances this year at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts are sacred Buddhist songs of Tibet by Kelsang Chukie Tethong; sacred Kora Music of the Sahara by Toumani Diabate; sufi Music by Madan Gopal Singh; Manipuri theatre by Kanhai Lal and Sabitri; and haka & other Maori dances by the Kahuranga Dance Theatre of New Zealand. The festival will also host four art exhibitions, including sacred textiles from Southeast Asia, contemporary scroll paintings from Bengal and art by child monks of Tsechokling Monastery of McLeod Ganj.
