Vijay Nambisan
After a hiatus of over two decades, Nambisan is back with his first full-length poetry collection. Though he says in his foreword that for a long time “poetry did not matter,” the volume brims with urgency from the very first piece, ‘Dirge,’ a tragicomic lament of playful, rhymed couplets, written to mark the year we lost Dom Moraes, Nissim Ezekiel and Arun Kolatkar.
