This book unravels the complex story of the racism and prejudice of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi during his time in South Africa. For Gandhi, whites and Indians were bound by an Aryan bloodline that had no place for the African. He also persistently claimed that Indian indentured labourers were ignorant, and needed his leadership. The book further shows how Gandhi continuously demonstrated his loyalty to the British Empire, especially in wartime.
