Kutti Revathi is the author of several collections of poetry, prominent among them being Mulaigal (Breasts) and Puunaiyaipol Alaiyum Veliccham (Light Prowls Like a Cat). She is the editor of Panikkudam, the first Tamil feminist magazine.
Malathi Maithri has published four collections of poetry and edits the Tamil feminist journal Anangu (Women). She is also closely involved with human rights work and environmental issues.
Sukirtharani is the author of four books of poetry. Her writing has won wide acclaim for a poetic vision rooted both in Dalit and feminist perspectives.
Lakshmi Holmström is a writer and acclaimed translator of Tamil literature. Her translation includes Salma's The Hour Past Midnight and Bama's classic work Karukku. She is also a founder-trustee of SALIDAA (South Asian Diaspora Literature and Arts Archive).
