Its stories present a unique mix of detailed reportage and lively and vivid writing, with a commitment to the art of storytelling, whether the subject is politics, culture, travel or art. The Caravan is published by the Delhi Press Group, one of India’s leading publishers. Started in 1939, Delhi Press today publishes 33 magazines in 10 languages.
The Relationship Manager is expected to maximise advertising revenues through proactive sales activities for The Caravan magazine’s yet to be launched Classifieds section. We are looking for a creative and highly motivated people manager that understands The Caravan and its market.
— Locate and contact potential clients to offer advertising services
— Build strong relationships with key contacts from prospective clients, maintaining a high level of contact via the telephone, email and meetings
— Understand target market and create new ideas to maximise revenue potential
— Generate advertising revenues in both print and digital formats.
— Explain to clients how specific types of advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible
— Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services
— Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing clients
— Recommend appropriate sizes and formats for advertising.
— Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts
Candidates should have excellent communication and organisational skills. Applicants have to be self-starters, willing and able to take initiative.
