Syed Asghar Wajahat's most acclaimed play Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya O Jmmyai Nai deals with the subject of partition sensitively. The play is set in Lahore around the time of the Indo-Pak partition and is based on how a Muslim family and an old Hindu woman bury their differences and live together in the trying circumstances.

The play is known for its intense portrayal of muhajirs (migrants). More than six decades have passed but the wounds of families, torn apart overnight, are still fresh. And this classic still manages to keep audiences coming back for more.
