L SUBRAMANIAM, LIVE IN CONCERT (MUSIC)

The violin maestro L Subramaniam, together with the classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj, will perform a series of alaaps in a fully improvised concert without accompaniment in traditional ragas. In the course of his career, Subramaniam has composed in a diverse range of styles, including western classical and ballet, and written scores for films such as Salaam Bombay and Mississippi Masala. The two performers have collaborated together several times in the past.
