Organised by The Hindu, the Lit for Life festival features three days of discussions and workshops on a variety of literary and intellectual topics. These will include: a discussion with the film critic Baradwaj Rangan and filmmaker K Hariharan about moral policing in cinema; a talk with Rahul Pandita, Basharat Peer, Barkha Dutt and Easterine Kire about their experiences in conflict zones; and the presentation of the prestigious Hindu Prize for Best Fiction 2013. The event will culminate with a jazz performance by UNK: The Radha Thomas Ensemble.
