Celebrated German architectural historian Andreas Volwahsen’s latest exhibition explores historical Indian monuments. Volwahsen has published several books on Indian architecture over the course of his career. Though his research draws from the German New Objectivity movement, he also seeks to transcend Western-centric understandings of the Indian forms he documents. This exhibition, featuring Volwahsen’s black-and-white photographs, comes to Bangalore after showing in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad.
