OUTSIDE IN—A TALE OF THREE CITIES (PHOTOGRAPHY)

To congratulate Pablo Bartholomew on his being conferred the Padma Shri for a distinguished career as a photographer, PhotoInk brings back the classic exhibition by the two-time World Press Photo award-winner. Structured like a family album and shot in Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi in the 1970s and 1980s, the photos are a diary of a young Bartholomew’s world. The series debuted at the Rencontres D’Arles photography festival in France in 2007, after which it was exhibited in cities around the world.
