Sama’a: The Mystic Ecstasy

Sama’a is a three-day festival of Sufi music. It will present qawwalis and ghazals by Munawwar Masoom & Group, sufiana songs by the singer Kailash Kher, and a collaborative performance between the Israeli performer Shye Ben Tzur and the Indian musical group Rajasthan Express. The festival also features the screening of Sufi Soul—The Mystic Music of Islam, a documentary written and presented by the Scottish writer William Dalrymple and directed by Simon Broughton.
