SOCIETY AS CONTINUITY (LECTURE)

The social activist Daya Bai will speak on the challenges facing tribal communities in the present day, as the old and the new mix in complex ways. Bai is a social activist with a background in law, who works for the upliftment of tribal groups in central India. The lecture is part of the Lila Prism 2014 series, which presents 14 seminal speakers from diverse fields reflecting on the dynamics of our times.
