16 SEPTEMBER AKSHARA THEATRE, DELHI

Syaahi, a theatre production by the Vayam Performing Arts Society, has been adapted from three plays by Vijay Tendulkar: Gidhade, Kutte and Sakharam Binder. In the play, a newly successful writer struggles to cope after characters from his books start coming to life. Soon, the writer is no longer able to distinguish between fact and fiction. The play constantly bewilders the audience, while also keeping them riveted.
