An experimental documentary, the visual artist Pamela Breda’s The Wonder Doctor tells the story of Stefan Theiler, a Swiss “movie Doctor” who wants to transform the world through movies that people can watch to improve their lives. Stefan lives in Switzerland, where, since 2009, he has been running a DVD rental store. The director met Stefan by chance in 2016 and decided to go back to Switzerland to tell his story.
