Gati Summer Dance Residency Productions 2013 (Dance)

The Gati Summer Dance Residency is a programme specially aimed towards dance choreography in India. This residency aims to assist and support six emerging choreographers from different dance backgrounds, traditional and contemporary, by giving them an opportunity to propose, conceptualise and develop their own choreographic works. Each choreographer is provided with financial support, individual mentoring and workshops, rehearsal space and production assistance. Each then creates a unique concept and method of movement exploration, and produces an original piece.
