The Tadpole Repertory, a collective of theatre practitioners, presents Ich bin Fassbinder (I am Fassbinder), the story of a man who gets mesmerised by Rainer Werner Fassbinder's Angst essen Seele auf (Fear Eats the Soul) and decides to adapt the film. He works tirelessly to make it worthy of the original and begins to fetishise the filmmaker to the point of imitation. Previous productions by the Repertory include Positions (2006), Mouse (2007), Good Hands/Godspeed (2008) and Taramandal (2010).

Ich bin Fassbinder, 6 to 8 May, Siddhartha Hall, Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, 3, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi. For more information, visit tadpoletheatre.wordpress.com
