The Ranthambore Festival

A year after its debut, the Ranthambore Festival is back with a series of concerts featuring folk and international musicians as well as interactive workshops for music and nature enthusiasts. This season will see performances by bands such as the Faran Ensemble, Trio Benares and Labik Kamal. Listeners will also be treated to folk music rooted in Gujarati and Rajasthani traditions. The festival has scheduled workshops where participants will be taught to play folk music instruments such as the bhapang and khartaal. There will also be screenings and talks focussed on wildlife and conservation.
